Welcome to the Cast Trust website!

 

Here you will find out more about Cast Trust, who we are, what we do and how to get involved with our work.

 

In the meantime here is a brief update on where we are as an organisation and some important changes in the past year.

 

In April 20111, Cast Trust relocated its main base from Pelham Street to the Enterprise Centre in Sinfin.  This was due to contracts from central Government covering Derby City and Derbyshire coming to an end, and the need to reduce the size and focus of the operation.

 

Despite not being present in Stockbrook physically with a base, Cast Trust continues to input into the development of the area through representation on the Abbey Neighbourhood Board. We also have set up and develop and run the Abbey Community Website and Social Media.  One of the main contributions to the area is our Stockbrook Living History Project, which will come to a close in the summer 2012.  This is helping to capture and preserve the history and memories of the area for future generations. We hope in 2012 to increase our project work in the area and will be embarking upon a Community Consultation Day in the near future. More details on this site in due course.

 

In the meantime Cast Trust is working closely with its sister organisation, Enterprise Sinfin, to enable it to deliver community development and engagement work in the Sinfin area of Derby to compliment Enterprise Sinfin's social and community enterprise activities. Christmas Wonderland Sponsorship

In December 2012  the main hall at Sinfin Enterprise Centre was transformed  into a magical Christmas Wonderland offering great value Christmas themed parties to the public.

Through generous sponsorship of local businesses we were also able to offer a number of free places at parties to those who would not otherwise been able to participate, and we would like to take this opportunity to show our gratitude to those organisations.  Please follow the links below to find out a little more about these organisations.


But the fun doesn’t stop there, from now until Easter you can still book a party for your child’s birthday or any other occasion in the re-designed Winter Wonderland, after which we will unveil our next exciting party theme.

Prices start from just £80 for up to 10 children for a 2 hour party including your choice of food from our exciting menu, or if you would like to relax while the children have fun, a fully facilitated party is available for £199 for up to 10 children. Additional children can be added to either package for a small charge.  We are open 7 days a week.
